TERMS OF SERVICE
Booking your wedding or other catered event with Hermanas implies your acceptance to our terms of service as stated herein. The following terms serve as and in lieu of a signed agreement. If you have any questions regarding these terms of service, please contact us.
We cater events which request product/service for a minimum of 45 guests, and up to a maximum of 2500 guests, depending on your flava selections. Events with guest numbers under the minimum incur a surcharge.
A 25% surcharge applies to all public holidays.
Most weddings require booking a minimum of 45 days in advance. A $100 surcharge may be incurred for weddings booked less than 10 days in advance.
If for any reason if an event or wedding is delayed through no fault of Hermanas, the cost of staffing will be charged to the customer following the event date.
Clean, cleared, and appropriate freezer and presentation space must be provided upon Hermanas delivery/arrival of ices, or Hermanas must charge additional for a) the staff time required to clear freezer or presentation space, and b) potential delays in service times as a result. This does not serve as a guarantee or commitment that Hermanas will approve staff to clear space for the ice.
Quotes & Charges
A quote will be provided based on your package selections, options, and number of stated guests. Our packages may include staffing for events/weddings over 65 guests and will be itemized if not inclusive. Any additional staff required, travel expenses, or equipment rental charges will be provided during the planning & quotation process.
Some events may require a site inspection before a final quote is provided and may have additional costs due to equipment required.
Additional Staffing, Staff Time, and Prices
Additional scooper and serving staff are charged at a rate of $15.50/hr (Sundays add $4.50/hr).
Federal/State and Public Holidays are charged at higher rates. A staff travel fee may apply. For Hermanas to provide staff at events, events must comply with presenting only subject matter appropriate for minimum-aged staff.
Travel costs related to staffing, transport of equipment will be discussed in your planning and quotation process.
Events and weddings bookings require a 50% deposit to secure the date.
All cancellations must be emailed as soon as possible. All deposits made for weddings are non-refundable, due to the cost of any supplies purchased and time spent preparing for your event, unless cancellation is requested a minimum of 90 days prior to the event date. Cancellations 48 hours prior to the event date will incur the full cost of the ices and staff time.
